Hi, I’m Jo
Hello!
I’m an upholsterer based between Stroud and Cirencester.
After a career in graphic design, I retrained in upholstery and completed my AMUSF diploma at the Bristol Upholstery Collective. My background in design continues to influence my work today, from fabric selection and colour choices to creating pieces that work beautifully within a home.
I work with clients across the Cotswolds, helping them restore, refresh and enjoy furniture through quality craftsmanship, carefully chosen fabrics and personal service.
Whether your furniture is a cherished family piece or simply ready for a new look, my aim is to create something beautiful, practical and made to last.
My Approach
I believe good upholstery is about more than simply changing fabric. It's about creating pieces that are comfortable, practical and made to last.
I enjoy helping clients choose fabrics and materials that suit both their home and lifestyle. Where appropriate, I like to incorporate natural materials such as wool, cotton and rubberised horsehair alongside carefully selected modern upholstery materials.
Whether I'm restoring a family heirloom or creating a bespoke piece, my aim is always the same: thoughtful craftsmanship, personal service and beautiful results.
Collaboration
As my business continues to grow, I occasionally work alongside other skilled upholsterers on larger projects and specialist pieces. I also enjoy connecting with fellow upholsterers and those new to the trade who are looking to gain experience, share knowledge or collaborate on projects.
If this sounds of interest, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
